The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) is accepting applications from tenure and non-tenure track faculty to learn about innovations taking place in distance education and blended learning at the following conferences:

OLC Innovate Conference: Tenure and non-tenure track faculty are invited to apply for conference grants to attend the Online Learning Consortium’s Innovate conference  VIRTUALLY only from April 1 – 3, 2025. Note that there is no in-person option this year. The OLC Innovate conference presents an extraordinary opportunity to learn from nationally recognized leading thinkers about cutting edge developments in distance education and blended learning.

MUS XLi Distance Education Conference: Tenure and non-tenure track faculty are invited to apply for conference grants to attend the MUS XLi Distance Education Conference in Missoula from April 14-15. This is the statewide conference dedicated to online teaching and learning and is an ideal place to join faculty, instructional designers and administrators who are involved in the practice and support of distance education.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE: February 28th by 5 pm.

The Center would like to sponsor faculty that possess some experience designing and delivering distance or blended courses. Applications will be evaluated accordingly and by the anticipated impact attending the conference will have on increasing and supporting distance education and blended learning at MSU.
