Who are Montana’s Own Scholars?

They have earned 60+ credits at MSU and are entering their last
four semesters with a GPA at or above 2.0.
They graduated from a Montana high school, were home-schooled
in Montana, or earned their GED/HiSET in Montana.
They have deep roots in Montana and their home communities.
Many are first-generation college students.
Many are non-traditional or adult learners.
They are passionate about their MSU studies.
They are committed to gaining the skills and abilities to be
tomorrow’s leaders.
They are committed to entering meaningful and purposeful
careers upon graduation.
