Who are 1893 Scholars?
- They have earned 90+ credits at MSU and are entering their last
two semesters with a GPA at or above 2.0. - They graduated from a Montana high school, were home-schooled
in Montana, or earned their GED/HiSET in Montana. - They have deep roots in Montana and their home communities.
- Many are first-generation college students.
- Many are non-traditional or adult learners.
- They are passionate about their MSU studies.
- They are committed to gaining the skills and abilities to be tomorrow’s leaders.
- They are committed to entering meaningful and purposeful
careers upon graduation.
The 1893 Scholars Program is committed to maintaining these traits
