Music Education (B.M.E.) 

TheMusic Education (K-12 Broadfield) major at Montana State Universityis for students who wish to become licensed to teach general music, band, choir, and orchestra at elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Music education students have a variety of solo and ensemble performing experiences throughout their studies at MSU.Additional coursework includes music theory, conducting, music technology, music history, music teaching methods, and four separate semester-long practicum experiences prior to student teaching. 100% of recent MSU music education graduates who sought jobs in music education are currently working in the field.
